Wildlife at Coffee Creek Preserve
The Coffee Creek Preserve is a great place to observe and enjoy wildlife. You may encounter many species of mammals on the trails and along the creek: Whitetail Deer, Red Fox, Squirrels, Coyote, Chipmunk, Muskrat, Mink, Cottontail Rabbits, Raccoon, Opossum. Reptiles like Garter Snakes and Little Brown Snakes are common here, and there are several species of amphibians like frogs and salamanders. Birdlife is abundant: Redwing Blackbirds in our wetlands, Tree and Barn Swallows, Eastern Bluebirds, and so many others, including migrating species which stop here in the spring and fall.
Feeding of wildlife is PROHIBITED
